About Me
I am French Immersion student at Riverside Secondary in Port Coquitlam, BC with a 95% Avg (4.0 GPA). I have been playing on the Women's Varsity Team since 9th grade. I am a conscientious student who aspires to play basketball at the collegiate level. I also play high school volleyball and run Cross Country. I am the oldest of four and love working with young children. I coach basketball for 4th and 5th graders at Mary Hill Elementary and I plan to pursue education as a career. I plan on majoring in my favorite subject Math. At the high school level, our Sr Girls have made the AAAA Provincial Finals for the past 3 consecutive years. In 2023, we won the Provincial Title and I received First Team All Star. At the club level , I've played for VK Basketball for the past 7 years including last on year on the U17 VK EYCL Team and competing in the Nike circuit.
I am a 5'11" versatile guard who can play the 1, 2, and 3 position. I am a play maker who likes to get my teammates involved in the offense. My left and right hand are equally dominant. I am a strong 3 point shooter. In grade ten I led our Sr Team in 3 point shooting percentage at 32%. On the ball, I use my length to create deflections and force slow passes on defense. I am self aware of my strengths and weaknesses. In order to thrive at the collegiate level I must gain more strength, improve my speed and play more aggressively. I am working with coaches and currently following a strength training program to help me improve these aspects of my game.
